Q: What if we are late for our session? Do you tolerate lateness?
A: Great question! Because proposal shoots require precise timing (especially with lighting and crowds), I stick strictly to the booked schedule.
Here is how lateness impacts your session:
The 15-Minute Rule: If our shoot is scheduled from 7:00 AM to 7:30 AM and you have not arrived by 7:15 AM, the slot is missed, and your 20% down payment (8,000 Yen) will unfortunately be forfeited. And if you booked me for 30 minutes but you late for 15 minutes and decided to continue the photoshoot with 30 minutes pricing then session will stop at 7:30 AM or you only have 15 minutes of photoshoot.
Arriving After the Booked Window: If you arrive at 7:30 AM (when our 30-minute session was originally scheduled to end), we will have to convert your booking into a 1-Hour Session. You will be responsible for the full 1-hour rate (40,000 Yen total), and your shoot will end promptly at 8:00 AM.
To keep everything running smoothly and stress-free, please plan to arrive 1 to 3 minutes early. I know it is hard to convince your partner to go to the proposal spot exactly on time, I will give you tips and perfect plan after you pay down payment for the proposal please don't worries at all!
Q: Will you help me arrange the perfect secret proposal?
Absolutely! I have photographed secret proposals almost every single day throughout my 8-year photography career.
I know exactly how to keep things hidden and stress-free. Once your down payment is confirmed, I will send you my complete, step-by-step Secret Proposal Guide (including locations, timing, and my top-secret setup tricks) to ensure everything goes perfectly! 💍✨
Q: Is the 30-minute or 1-hour session with video the best choice?
Yes, 100%! Right now, packages that include live video are in incredibly high demand.
Photos capture beautiful frozen moments, but having a cinematic video lets you relive the raw emotions, the shaking hands, and the actual words spoken during your proposal. It is the ultimate keepsake!
Q: How long does the editing process take?
I work fast to get your memories to you! Typically, I finish editing everything within 1 to 2 days.
However, during peak travel seasons (like Autumn, Sakura season, or the end-of-year holidays), my editing queue fills up quickly. During these busy times, delivery can take a maximum of 3 to 5 days.
Q: Can you deliver the photos even faster?
Yes! If you can't wait to share the big news, you can upgrade to a Rush Delivery.
If you would like your photos delivered within 6 to 12 hours, you can add a 5,000 yen (about $40) rush tip. This bumps your gallery to the very front of my editing line! Otherwise, standard delivery timelines apply.
Q: Can our family or friends join the photoshoot?
A: Absolutely! Family and friends are welcome to be a part of your big day.
Once the proposal happens and the initial excitement settles, I am happy to take 1 or 2 quick group photos of everyone together. Right after that, we will continue with just the two of you for the rest of the session to make sure we get all your romantic couple portraits!
Q: How will you deliver our photos?
Your photos will be delivered through a secure, private gallery right on my website!
Once they are ready, I will send you a personal link to your collection. From there, you and your partner can easily view, share, and download all your high-resolution images in one click.
Q: How long do you keep our photos saved?
Standard client galleries are safely stored on my website for 1 month.
After 30 days, files are automatically removed to free up digital storage space. However, you can easily unlock permanent, free lifetime storage just by leaving a quick review on my Google Maps page from two separate accounts (like one from you and one from your partner)!
If you choose to skip the reviews and need your photos recovered after the 1-month mark, there is a $50 USD re-editing fee to re-import and re-process your original RAW files.
Q: Is your transportation fee included? What if a location requires an entrance ticket?
Yes, my travel expenses are fully covered!
Transportation is completely free for any sessions taken within the cities of Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara. Please note that if your chosen location requires entrance tickets, permit fees, or venue booking costs, those are not included and will need to be covered by the client.
Q: I want to rent a kimono! Can you book the rental for me?
While I don't handle the bookings directly, I’ve got you covered with some amazing recommendations!
I am a photographer rather than a travel planner, so I do not manage or take responsibility for kimono shop reservations, timing, or fittings. However, to make things as easy as possible for you, I have curated a list of my favorite, foreigner-friendly local shops here:

It is best to schedule your kimono fitting appointment at least 1 to 2 hours before our photoshoot session starts, depending on how far the shop is from our meeting spot. Feel free to ask me if you're unsure about travel times!
Q: How can I book your services or check your availability?
Booking your session is simple and secure!
To consult about open dates and lock in your photoshoot, please contact me directly so we can check availability. Once we agree on a date, here is how the booking works:
Secure Your Date (20% Down Payment): To officially reserve your slot, a 20% down payment is required via Stripe (Credit Card) or PayPal. Please send me your email address so I can issue your digital invoice!
The Remaining Balance (80%): You can easily pay the remaining 80% balance in cash at the end of our photoshoot.
Prefer to Pay in Full with a Card? If you would rather pay the full amount upfront via Credit Card or PayPal, you are more than welcome to do so! Please note that an additional 4% platform fee will be added to cover the processing charges.
Q: Are all photos going to be edited?
