A Morning Session Filled With Beautiful Moments
This is the story of Pablo and Amanda, a lovely couple who recently got engaged and booked a photo session to create a gallery that will be displayed at their wedding in Japan. During our discussion, they mentioned a special request: they wanted a scene of them cycling together in a park. They had already chosen the location, a garden near their reception venue, serene and surrounded by beautiful landscapes. We met on the appointment day, an autumn morning with a gentle breeze in the park. The session began with photos of them crossing an enchanting stone bridge, captured with beautiful surrounding scenery. I also took some close-up portraits to highlight their engagement rings.
Hand in hand, they walked down a classic stone staircase lined with autumn trees, surrounded by warm shades of yellow, orange, and deep red. As the breeze settled, they began cycling through the garden. Using a candid lens, I captured their natural connection, the quick smiles, the way they glanced at each other, and the easy pace they shared. The autumn colors around them framed these simple, joyful moments beautifully. They ran side by side through an open grassy area scattered with fallen leaves and gently danced among the autumn colors, like a moment lifted from a romantic film. I took a few portraits of them framed by the foliage, letting the colors add a gentle touch.
Nearby, a clear stream flowed quietly. As they stepped across the narrow stepping stones, Pablo reached for Amanda’s hand, and halfway across, he leaned in for a gentle kiss, an intimate scene framed by nature. They continued cycling afterward, and I photographed them from various angles since the park offered picturesque scenes at every turn. Their reflection shimmered on the water as they shared a soft gaze and a gentle kiss, effortless affection captured in a single frame. They also asked for a vintage edit to give the photos a timeless feel
We ended near traditional Japanese buildings, where the silhouette of a pagoda added a cultural accent to their gallery. After the shoot, they rested in café and warmed up with hot drinks. I’m grateful to have documented their morning, each detail, each quiet gesture of love. I hope that when they revisit these photos, they will remember this peaceful day and carry its warmth into their marriage.
