A Morning Filled with Intimate Moments in Nature
This is the story of Eleazar and Liliana, a lovely couple from South America who traveled to Japan to spend some quiet, quality time together. When they were searching for a photographer, they said they immediately felt connected to my style. During our discussion about their couple session, I learned that they were drawn to Japan’s natural landscapes and intimate, genuine moments. Thus, we decided on a location that offered both natural scenery and a calm atmosphere.
We began the session early in the morning at a park surrounded by beautiful scenery. Autumn was just beginning to show, with burnt orange and yellow leaves along the paths and soft morning light filtering through the trees. We explored the area and for the first shots, I photographed them on an enchanting stone bridge above a tranquil pond. I used a wide angle lens to capture the full view of the autumn colors that framed their moment so naturally.
They continued walking hand in hand along the garden paths. They paused for a small dance, their chosen outfits creating a beautiful contrast against the warm autumn palette. I focused on capturing candid gestures of connection, their relaxed laughter, the way they looked at each other, and the simple but affectionate touches that spoke louder than any pose.
Their walk led them to a riverside path, where the warm autumn tones created the perfect mood for romantic, cinematic shots. At times, they exchanged glances and smiles, and I made sure to capture those lighthearted moments from their morning in nature.
A short walk away, we reached another area of the garden with lush and the tones shifted to deep greens. They walked down a staircase lined with mossy trunks, and the mood suddenly felt “zen.” When they crossed a small stepping stones with a waterfall in the background, the contrast between their modern black outfits and the untouched greenery created a very balanced and peaceful composition.
We ended the session in another autumn spot, where they stepped lightly across stones over the river. I captured their silhouettes reflected in the water, simple, quiet, and meaningful. It was a pleasure documenting their Japan trip and turning those moments into something they can look back on. I wish them happiness, and I hope that when they revisit these photos someday, they’ll remember not only the scenery but also how they felt in these small shared moments.
