Heartfelt Moments Witnessed by Serene Nature
Spring in Japan always carries a quiet kind of romance. This is the story of Jun and Cherlyn, a lovely couple who chose to spend their spring holiday in Kyoto, creating beautiful memories together during their getaway in Japan. While searching for a photographer to document their trip, they instantly connected with my photography style. During our discussion about the session, Jun shared his heartfelt plan to propose to Cherlyn during the photoshoot. I felt truly honored that he trusted me to capture such a meaningful moment. Their session began early in the morning beside a peaceful river, surrounded by clear flowing water, rows of trees, and the beautiful silhouette of distant hills. The atmosphere felt calm and intimate, as if nature itself was quietly witnessing their love story unfold. As they enjoyed the serene scenery together, Jun suddenly went down on one knee and opened a small ring box. Cherlyn looked completely surprised, but within seconds, her expression softened into the happiest smile as she said yes. I captured this heartfelt moment through candid photographs, allowing their emotions and connection to unfold naturally, beautifully framed by the surrounding nature.
After the proposal, they stepped onto the stones across the middle of the river, enjoying the peaceful morning together.
